2016 Conclave Logo Unveiled

By January 22, 2016AKL, Conclave

The Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda is pleased and excited to unveil the logo for the 2016 National Conclave in Las Vegas!

This logo was selected from numerous submissions, all sent by undergraduate members, from across the country. Those creating submissions were given freedom to create as they saw fit but the design had to incorporate;

  • Fraternity Full Name: Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda and Greek Letters
  • Fraternity Colors: Purple and Gold
  • Conclave Dates: July 28 – July 31, 2016
  • Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Appropriate imagery from AKL history, regalia, Coat of Arms etc.
  • Appropriate imagery associated with host location, Las Vegas.

The logo was created by Brother David Ketchum (Gamma Nu, Mansfield, ’14). David explained “An alumni of our chapter sent me the link… When I thought about it, I wanted to make a logo to give back to Alpha Kappa Lambda in a certain way and thought this was a great way to do so.” David is currently a member of the Gamma Nu Chapter at Mansfield University of Pennsylvania. He is a Graphic Design Major with a Minor in Business Administration who currently holds three positions; New Member Trainer, Public Relations, and Historian. After he graduates, David plans to go to graduate school to get an MFA in Brand Development.

This logo will be used on all advertising and publication materials leading up to, and through Conclave. All details for the 2016 National Conclave can be found here: http://akl.org/2016-national-conclave/
