Leadership

  •  Leadership reflects our desire to serve the community in which we live. Many times it means we direct or demonstrate to others. Sometimes it simply means we follow or support others.

Annually the  Foundation sponsors the Clark - Thompson Presidents' Academy.  This academy provides leadership training to incoming chapter presidents and is held each January.  This program has existed for two decades and has over 500 graduates.  This program is currently endowed by a contribution of the Mu Chapter (Ohio State University).  Future gifts will assist in growing the endowment to ensure future opportunities exist, even as costs increase.

The Fraternity provides leadership opportunities termed "Regional Leadership Colleges" on off-Conclave years.  These leadership colleges are funded by undergraduate registrations and grants from the AKL Education Foundation .  The annual appeal supports these activities.  Alethia Scholarships are primarily used for leadership education opportunities.  The Foundation  currently offers eight of these scholarships annually.

Conclave Educational Activities are many times sponsored by the AKL Education Foundation  .  These activities can include keynote speakers, leadership development activities and other resources.  The annual appeal supports these activities.
