Loyalty means being committed as a member to both the Fraternity and our community. We believe this Ideal directs us to be caretakers of AKL and the members within.
The Lewis Bacon Expansion Scholarships provide varying ways of supporting members in their academic pursuits while they assist in establishing colonies across the country.
Designated Chapter Funds are funds established for individual chapter use within the Foundation. These funds can be used by the chapter for educational purposes such as scholarships, speakers or technology improvements within the chapter property. Closed chapters can establish individual chapter funds to be used first for Book Scholarships and then for other educational purposes once their chapter has been reestablished.
There are many activities the Foundationcurrently does that have the opportunity to be endowed. Endowments for Educational Programs are ways alumni can leave their mark on AKLfor many years to come. These gifts can provide continued support in a number of ways. Individuals interested in Endowment opportunities should contact the Foundation office at (317)585-4911.
