Part of a college students social development is learning Risk Management. Fraternities provide more opportunities for members than typical college students which in turn means more risk. For this reason the Fraternity of Alpha Kappa Lambda and the AKL EducationFoundation provide have partnered to provide strong risk managment education to all members and chapters.
The AKL Education Foundation specifically provides a grant annually for GreekLifeEdu(formally AlcoholEdu). This program is the premier online training program for Fraternity members. Every new member of Alpha Kappa Lambda must compelte this program prior to initiation. Every chapter must have 100% completion to have alcohol on chapter property. The National Headquarters keeps track of individual members completion of the program.
