The AKL Education Foundation provides scholarships and grants on an annual basis. These opportunities are the direct result of our donors' support. The following is a list of these opportunities:
- Alethia Scholarships -The Logos fund was initially created at the time of the Fraternity's Golden Anniversary in 1964 and is designed to serve as an instrument for the bringing into being of an eventual endowment of $500,000. The fund's purpose is to aid and strengthen the Fraternity's scholarship program through underwriting the Alethia Awards.
- Frederick Horton Clapp Chapter Challenge Grant - The purpose of the Chapter Challenge Grant is to encourage and support the chapters' development of programs for improvement of chapter programs.
- Lewis J. Bacon Expansion Scholarships - This scholarship was established to recognize a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda who served as its Executive Director from 1949 to 1972 and who through his innovative programming was responsible for the most dynamic growth the Fraternity had experienced.
- Clark - Thompson Presidents' Academy - Since the early 90s the AKL Education Foundation has sponsored an annual Presidents' Academy to train incoming chapter presidents in all areas of managing a chapter. The event generally takes place in early January and most years has been held in Indianapolis.
- Risk Management Grant - This grant provides opportunities such as GreeklifeEdu which is the premier online training program for Fraternity members. Every new member of Alpha Kappa Lambda must complete this program prior to initiation.
